I don’t use messengers, I don’t like them, but I admit they are popular, mostly if you are a teenager or if you don’t have anything better to do other than chat or write a blog. Here are the simple steps to install Yahoo! Messenger, if I missed something just let me know.The default Yahoo! Messenger installation will do the following:
- Install Yahoo! Messenger
- Change homepage to Yahoo.com
- Change default search engine to Yahoo
- Install Yahoo! Toolbar
If you do not want the extra software, uncheck these:
- Make Yahoo! my browser’s default search engine
- Make www.yahoo.com my browser’s home page
Steps to install Yahoo! Messenger 8
First, download the installation program, I found that this version does not install the toolbar or changes your homepage (maybe Yahoo! finally got it right and no longer tries to install software we don’t need)
1. Click the button below and select ‘Run’ when asked.
